Internship with Sinolytics (3 - 6 months, full-time, paid) 

Sinolytics accepts internship applications on a rolling basis.

The internship is based in Beijing, China or Berlin, Germany. 

Sinolytics welcomes applications for a full-time, paid internship of at least three months. The position is open to current students or recent graduates. We offer a competitive salary.

In our hybrid work environment, you will have the opportunity to contribute to client assignments and gain first-hand experience in China-focused consulting for international companies.  

Key activities: 

• Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and policy monitoring on a variety of topics across industries (e.g., geopolitics, China's industrial and technology policies, supply chains, cyber and data regulations, etc.). 
• Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into accurate and timely outputs. Assist in the preparation of client communications, presentation materials and research deliverables. 
• Actively participate in internal meetings, discussions, and training sessions. 
• You will be offered robust training and support to hone your research and consulting skills. 

Requirements:

• Studies in economics, political science, business administration, (Chinese) law, China studies, data science, or other relevant fields. 
• Demonstrated expertise, research background or keen interest in geopolitics/international relations, information technology, artificial intelligence, supply chain analysis, Southeast Asia, or U.S. policy is a plus.  
• Experience in translating qualitative and quantitative information into powerful narratives and visually compelling graphics. Solid writing skills are appreciated. 
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning. 
• Ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. 
• Customer focus and business mindset, ideally demonstrated through relevant work experience. 
• Fluency in English, good knowledge of Chinese. German or other languages are welcome.
