Key activities: 

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to geopolitics, China’s economic, industrial and technology policies, supply chains, and cybersecurity.
  • Collect, synthesize, and present both qualitative and quantitative data in clear, impactful formats, assisting in the preparation of client communications and research deliverables.
  • Actively participate in internal team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and professional training to develop your consulting skills.
  • Collaborate with our experts to shape strategic insights and recommendations for clients.

Requirements:

  • Studies in economics, political science, business administration, (Chinese) law, China studies, data science, or related fields.
  • A demonstrated interest in or expertise related to geopolitics, international relations, information technology, artificial intelligence, supply chain analysis or U.S. policy is a plus.
  • Strong willingness to and comfort in engaging with new topics, industries, and methodologies.
  • Experience in transforming complex qualitative and quantitative information into compelling narratives and visually engaging presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, coupled with a passion for continuous learning and a drive to grow professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Client-oriented mindset, ideally demonstrated through relevant work or academic projects.
  • Fluency in English speaking and writing is essential; proficiency in Chinese is highly valued, and other languages are a bonus.

  • Please indicate your availability and university affiliation. Please note that we only accept applications from students who are enrolled in a Chinese university for the entire duration of their internship.
  • For non-Chinese citizens: Please indicate the validity period of your student visa and your eligibility to work off-campus. If your application is successful, we will assist you in obtaining an internship remark (实习证明) from your university.
  • We offer internships within specific time slots, but we understand that schedules can vary. If our set time slots don't fully align with yours, we welcome your application and accept candidates on a rolling basis.
