Melda Kubat is an Associate at Sinolytics, where she supports research on China-related political and economic developments.
Prior to joining Sinolytics, Melda completed an internship at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), working in the Department for China and Central Asia and supporting the Head of Department in preparing for the World Bank Summit.
During her bachelor's studies, Melda spent an exchange year at Peking University, gaining valuable academic and personal experience in China. She holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Integrated China Studies from Freie Universität Berlin.
Melda is a native speaker of German and Turkish, fluent in English, and proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
