Associate
Karl Heinlein, Associate, provides insights on trade relations, China’s industrial and technology policy, and trends across different industry sectors for the business strategy team.
Prior to joining Sinolytics, he interned in the Beijing office of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), where he advised German federal ministries on regulatory and industrial developments and non-tariff barriers impacting the automotive industry in China.
He holds an M.A. in Comparative Government from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Freiburg. He also studied Chinese language at Beijing Foreign Studies University.
